Dr. Lee Kirchner

This doctor has been with my family since my very premature son was in the hospital. Born at just 25 weeks gestation and only 1 pound 5 oz my son's lungs were a severe issue from the beginning. Thru every stage in life Dr. Kirchner and his whole staff and family have followed us and helped my son thrive and be a "normal" little boy. We all cheered together when he started walking, talking, and running. We worked hard together in a patient and doctor partnership to keep my sweet son at his highest potential. He is now a healthy almost 10 year old that is still currently thriving thanks to Dr. Kirchner. We are forever thankful for the day I saw his smiling face walk in the door. He is our angel doctor! If you want the best care for your little blessing he should be your choice always.

Dr. Kirschner has been seeing my twin boys since they were in the NICU (almost 8 years). He is extremely caring, and very interactive with them at every visit. They enjoy his jokes and the goofy atmosphere he creates for this age group. His interaction with my wife and I as the parents is extremely professional and encouraging as his helps us to navigate through the different medicines and treatments he recommends. He and his staff are awesome and have been since day one. The only complaint I have heard from other patients (and the sign he has in the waiting room) he tends to run long on his appointments. At first as new parents of twins who were extremely premature and on a tight sleeping and eating schedule this was frustrating, however as we quickly realized, Dr K Kirschner spends the appropriate amount of time with each family to ensure that the medical information has been passed on and that the parents understand and are comfortable with what is going on. He never wants to have… his families frustrated and uninformed just because he wants to squeeze more patients into a day. I am comfortable knowing that while he may be running behind (and probably is) he will not rush my appointment and will not have any problems ensuring my family gets all of the appropriate care and knowledge that we deserve. I just plan a little extra time into each visit to accommodate him because he and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate my family whenever we need anything even if it is over the phone or after hours. We love Dr K Kirschner and his staff and have reccomended him many times.

Dr. Kirchner has treated my severly handicapped child for over 10 years. He is compassionate and caring and gets the " big picture" in our situation whereas many other pediatric specialists do not. He is an excellent communicator and is very honest. I always feel that he has my childs best interest at heart and will do whatever it takes. His office staff is caring and efficient as well, which is important to me. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone needing a pediatric pulmonologist.

My son has been Dr K's patient for 10 years...since he was 11 months old. We have been blessed to get to know he and all his staff. They give great care and love the little ones!

Dr. Kirchner treated my daughter. My daughter was in the NICU for 6 long months and did not like male doctors, but any time Dr. Kirchner entered the room all of her vitals would go up, it's like she could feel he was a great person. After she was released from the NICU we continued to see Dr. Kirchner and I looked fwd to his appointments as my daughter loved him and I loved to see such a wonderful Dr. have such a great bond with a tiny little being. He does not rush you, you feel like you are his only patient and if you have any little concern he listens to everything. He is fast at any action that needs to be taken. I miss Dr. Kirchner and if any of my other kiddos need a pulmonologist he will be the first Dr. I call as I 100% trust him!His staff is friendly and his PA Kathy is also great!

Dr. Kirchner has been treating both of my daughters for asthma for the past 10 years. Dr. K never hesitates to take as much time as we need to for both myself and my daughters to understand what causes asthma and what the treatment plan is and why he feels it would be the best treatment. Dr. K always seems genuinely interested in his patients as people, not just as respiratory problems. I wish all doctors were as knowledgeable and caring as Dr. K. I have recommended him to friends in the past, and will continue to do so.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Lee Kirchner for 11 years. He has always treating us with respect and he has always been there for my daughters asthma needs. I would highly recommend him.

My son suffered a major overdone of medicine about 10 years ago at Methodist Hospital under Dr. Lee Kirschner's care. Injury to my son's brain was caused a result.

We have been very pleased with the care Dr. K has given our (now 4yr) son for the last 2 yrs. He is attentive and very aggressive in his approach to treating asthma.
