Dr. Lee Richard Morisy, MD

He preformed surgery on my mother to repair a perforated colon. He did a terrible job. He did not place any drains. Her colon continued to leak. Extreme infection set in. Extreme weakness. Could not eat. She was miserable. 12 days later a second surgery was preformed by a different surgeon to repair her perforated colon . My mother had to go to rehab to rebuild her strength so she could walk again. My mother almost died. By the grace of God, she is still alive.

Dr. Morisy was able to immediately diagnosis a problem I encountered following a surgery another doctor conducted. Through his efforts and surgery the problem was corrected.

Sadly, I have had many surgeries during my life. Out of all of my surgeons, Dr. Morisy was by far the very best. He has an excellent staff as well.

Dr. Morisy was called to do my unexpected gall bladder removal surgery. Dr. Morisy and his UT Resident was wonderful during the whole process. They both came by and spoke to me and let me know everything that was going to take place before hand. I appreiciated the introduction and explaination since this was my first time meeting either one. I'm very thankful for the care they showed me and my family during this time.
