Done previously by another Dr. Dr Morris removed the jumbled mesh from my prior repair and fixed the hernia the correct way. I am in my 40's and have had no issues returning to full strength for lifting weights and doing Crossfit. Excellent Dr. Have not had any issues and the repair was done 3 years ago. Loved Methodist Hospital as well.

Neither he nor his staff followed up on initial diagnosis in a prompt manner. Three weeks after initial diagnosis we vent heard anything from him or staff. Not one of the phone calls promised was returned. Horrible staff...and dr isn't so good on that either.

Great surgeon! very skilled. great bedside manner. I had a very good post op course. Took plenty of time during my appointment - did not seem rushed at all. Very nice personality.

Great Doctor. Very friendly. Nice front desk staff. Removed my Gall Bladder and I have had no problems since then. The only problem I had with his office was an employee (surgery coordinator) who couldn't manage coordinating with another doctor to come up with a time schedule/plan for both doctors to do surgery on me on the same day. He was not good with follow up as well. I had to keep calling him and reminding him that I needed my surgery to be done and could he please figure out a date and let me know. Finally, the second doctors employee/scheduler took over (they recognized the problem as well) and coordinated both surgeries to be done that day in a prompt manor. It delayed my surgery by more than two weeks. I complained and hopefully the problem has been resolved.

I had quite a few people tell me he is a good surgeon and he will be a great surgeon for me... I went in to see him after waiting for 2 hours and he straight up told me he didn't want to do the procedure... so now I have to hunt for someone that will... very frustrating...

I went to see Dr. Morris about a hernia repair. This was my first surgery, and I was very nervous. I had done tons of research on doctors and Dr. Morris was my 3rd consultation. He took the time to listen to me, and my concerns about surgery, and thoroughly discussed the plan of surgery with me. He was the only doctor I had felt comfortable with to go ahead and have the procedure done. My overall experience was as expected, and I would highly recommend Dr. Morris to anyone who needs a general surgeon. You are in good hands with him as your doctor.

I would choose this doctor any day. He did a great job on my husband's hernia surgery. He was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and provided excellent care, and took time to be with patient. Didn't make you feel like he was in a hurry to be somewhere else. I recommend him to help meet your needs.
