What can you say about a person that saved your life? Whatever it is, it cannot be enough. An excellent surgeon that had previously treated me for cancer 3 years earlier found a 2nd larger and more complicated tumor, and said "I'm going to refer your to someone a lot smarter that me". And that's how I came to be a patient of Dr. Pederson. He performed a very complicated 4-hour surgery that other doctors might/would not attempt and, simply put, saved my life. And he did it with compassion, humility, concern for the patient and a healthy sense of humor. His follow-up has been outstanding and he has helped me remain focused on living a normal life. His staff shares his patient-first focus and I always feel valued by them. I was led to Dr. Pederson by another surgeon that knew of his work, skills and reputation. I was blessed by this happening, and I am blessed and fortunate to be his patient. He is my hero.

I had a bowel obstruction emergency surgery with Dr. Pederson early April 2024. He was very polite and caring, clarified all our questions before the surgery, and he came to visit me every day during my hospital recovery, continuing to clarify our questions. He was genuinely happy to see my recovery and sending me back home. I totally recommend him.

One of the best surgeons ever. I have had numerous surgeries and Dr Peterson is very professional but also has a great bed side manner which usually is unheard of with surgeons!!!
