Disrespectful, rude, condescending. This doctor should not be practicing. Never will I return.

Dr. Roof is a terrific doctor. Exactly what I want and expect. He is a superb clinician, highly knowledgeable, honest, forthright and caring, and I think very personable. He is no nonsense in his approach to medical issues, which I think is exactly right for a doctor. Obnoxious and rude? No way! If you want your hand held, go see a psychiatrist. If you want the best diagnosis, treatment, and outcome for whatever your condition, go see Dr. Roof. His follow up, when necessary, is great and is one of the factors in my comment about his caring. He is very thorough with explanations in lay terms when a question is asked and takes all the time necessary for you to understand.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Roof's for over 8 years. He is the best at diagnosing what's wrong with you and getting you well. He doesn't have the best bedside manner...very gruff and serious...but if you want to trust someone with your life, he's your guy! And his pyhsician assistants are fabulous and have great bedside manners, so if you need to have some sympathy with your medical care you can get that too.

I worked with Dr.Roof many years ago and I have been a patient of his as have both of my parents. I you want someone to hold your hand while you snivel go somewhere else. If you want the brightest and now very experienced mind on WI stay with Dr. Roof.
