Dr. Root and his PA JJ are both Excellent! Dr. Root is highly efficient. He has saved my Grandfather's life twice, just by being diligent, checking and finding serious things that other doctors miss. Even things not cardiac related. He is quirky... but always on top of it and ahead of it.

Dr Root spent very little time with me. He dumps everything on his PA and never checked things himself. He is not up on the latest in cardiology and missed my diagnosis

this doctor has saved my life he has caught many heart related issues before they became major. he also works well with all my other doctors.

I am a former pharmaceutical rep. and have met many cardiologists during my years in the business. Dr. Root, in my opinion is the most caring and most competent of all the cardiologist I have ever come across. He is knowledgeable of all the current issues and practices in cardiology. This is why I chose him to be my personal physician. He also utilizes a very caring and knowledgeable PA, who is, insome cases more up do date that many of the other cardiologists in the immediate area.

Avoid this doctor. He relies on a physician asssitant to do all his work for him. He is very unsure of himself and doesnt seem to care about his patients

It is a sad statement that patients prefer his PA over Dr. Root. He is not very intelligent and missed my diagnosis. He pushes everything off on his PA. Go see someone else for appropriate care
