Dr. Lee Starker, MD

1. Prescribed as needed anxiety medication without examining patient, told patient he was anxious and sent him on his way. Patient died 2 1/2 weeks later. 2. Lee Starker had a hissy fit when asked why he didn’t examine him and what happened. Said he wasn’t a mind reader, berated wife while husband was dying. Proceeded to call elderly in-laws and berate them. (Not the first time he did that). 3. Disregards patient’s concerns. Visited ED for the same thing 5-ish times. Dr stuck a NG tube down his throat, emptied stomach, discharged him. Patient returned over and over - same pain - same outcome. Dr puts bandaids on patients, does not think outside of the box, and thinks he is the smartest person in the room and when questioned they are berated. 4. Patient has degenerative hearing loss, we told doctor, team - team called patient a ‘baby’ because he asked to call his mother because he couldn’t hear what they were saying about his surgery previous day and wife was in route to hospital.

The best Dr ever, Dr. Starker has the best bed side manner that I have ever seen, he explained my procedure to me along with all the pros and cons and put me at ease, after my procedure he explained what was done, my healing process and what to expect, he answered all my questions and returned my calls within a few hours of me calling with further concerns, I can’t express how highly I recommend Dr Starker he’s absolutely the BEST

Dr. Starker was excellent. He was kind, made me feel a little less nervous and did a great job on my right thyroidectomy. He explained every step of process. A great doctor!

Dr. Starker made me feel comfortable as soon as I met him. I had to remove half of my thyroid and was very nervous about the surgery, however, he made me feel less overwhelmed and explained the procedure, healing process and everything I needed to know prior to surgery. Also, when my biospy results came in he called me right away and explained to him what they met(in normal language, not doctor talk). After surgery he kept in touch, I was nervous because I was slightly swollen and he fit me in the next day and told me it was the normal healing process. This month makes two months since my surgery and my scar is healing nicely and it is a clean cut with minimal incision. I am so grateful I went to him and everything was a success! Definitely recommend Dr. Starker for thyroid surgery!
