If you want to get on opiates for life in the forum of suboxone or methadone he is your man you might here some in untruths but he is your guy for high dose of methadone but don't ask to detox he dosent like that word ,but if you want your child on methadone for the rest of their lives again he is you man and I'm fine with that but. You would think he would talk to you about detox off of your young and had not been useing opiates for more then a couple year next thing your hand cuffed to the program for life he is your man

Seeing Dr. T, and listening to his "speech" was like hearing a chapter out of a common addiction textbook..

Please beware of using Dr. Tannenbaum as a family physician. About 12 years ago, Dr. Tannenbaum misdiagnosed me with a positive TB skin test. I had not been out of the country, been around anyone who had been ill or had any signs of TB. Even though I had a negative chest x-ray, he placed me on 9 months of a treatment for TB. I recently discovered through testing to donate a kidney that no antibodies were found in my system for TB. I have spent several thousand $'s over the years on unnecessary chest x-rays and dealt with side effects of taking an unnecessary, potentially dangerous medication.

This doctor told me the only way to beat an addiction was to take the highly priced medication, no other support. I tried his way, I failed. I have been attending completely FREE AA meetings and have remained sober for over 3 years. Treating addiction with costly medications, only, is very irresponsible .

Straight shooter who wants to see the addiction system stop.

I have saw him for about a year or so and the prices were high but whatever. I decided one month to stop taking the suboxone so I tapered down and then stopped. A week after stopping I called the doctors office to see if they could prescribe me anything to help going to sleep at night as the withdrawals are keeping me up for days at a time. The woman said they have otc things for that and that they could not help me. With all the money I paid them, and with how bad the withdrawals are for suboxone I can't understand how a doctor who actually cares about his patients would not help them ease the withdrawals. I wasn't asking for something to get high I was asking for something to help me fall asleep. If I could do it all again I would not have seen this doctor.

Long story short, Dr. Lee Tannenbaum does not care about the patients only the money (500$ a month for first 3 months then 250$ every month after). I was told I could visit every other month at 250$ a visit. About 25 days after that appointment the office called and said that they would no longer honor that and I need to be seen in 5 days and pay the 250$ or I would not receive my Suboxone. I explained to the office that I am on a tight budget and that I didnt budget the appointment in because I was told I wouldnt have to come back for 2 months and the office pretty much told me tuff, come in and pay or no suboxone. This practice is a joke and only cares about one thing and it is not the patient or their well being. Suboxone works, it is great, and it will work no matter who gives you the script. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!
