Dr. Leeann Rhodes, MD

I went to Dr. Rhodes during a very difficult time to get help managing my fibromyalgia, which I've had for over 20 years. She made recommendations as if I was newly diagnosed, and had no interest in what had worked or hadn't worked for me before. I was distraught at my second appointment due to my daughter's illness. Instead of helping me and providing me with care, this doctor tried to have me forcibly admitted to the hospital for psychiatric care.

I went in with severe foot pain and she did physical exam on my foot and new I had something wrong with the disc in my back. I would have never connected the two. I got an MRI immediately and found out I have a tear in my disc. First time someone has diagnosed me so quick and spot on.

I am in my mid 20's and I have been dealing with spine issues for over 10 years. I have always been told that I am too young to have surgery but after a long search I found doctors who were willing to listen. My MRI showed 3 discs that could have been the source of my pain. I was referred to LeeAnn for a discography. The discography results showed a tear at L3-L4 and determined that it was the source of my pain. The MRI showed a tear only at L4-L5 and only DDD at L3-L4. When I was finally referred to a surgeon for my spine, he said that a discography was not a good diagnostic tool because the doctors usually never do it right. He then asked me questions about the procedure. We determined that she did the procedure correctly because I could remember every aspect of it. Typically too much anesthesia is given and the patient does not remember the procedure rendering it useless. My surgeon and I decided to do a spinal fusion at L3-L4. I no longer have the excruciating pain that I had… pre-surgery. If it was not for the superb service I received from Dr. Rhodes, we would have chosen the wrong disc to perform surgery on. I owe this woman my life without her I would not be able to play with my kids again. I highly recommend her!

What I love about Dr. Rhodes is that she is compassionate and allows her patient's input to come up with a plan of care...also understands that importance of spirituality and medicine.I would recommend her for anyone that needs the services she provides. She is A++++
