We wanted to see Dr, Di Cesare, who is excellent, but he was unavailable, so we settled for Dr. Athayle, Huge mistake, Very, very rushed examination. Dr. Athayle seemed in a hurry to leave as I was the last appointment of the day. Dr Dicesare did a very thorough examination on my husband, and I thought I would get the same treatment. Appears she only wanted to cover what I completed on the questionnaire in the waiting room. When I asked her about something else, she replied, you need another appointment for that, want me to make one? Didn't know I would need a different appointment for each skin issue. In summary, Dr. Di Cesare is terrific, but avoid Dr. Athayle at all costs.

Dr Athalye is outstanding. She is also kind, caring and empathetic. I saw her with a small innocuous looking rash. She did a biopsy and it was just as well. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer which we have caught early. I am so thankful to her.

I see Dr Leela Athalye at Advanced institute of Dermatology, Palm Desert, CA. I find her caring and compassionate in her professional. She is exceptionally skilled and dedicated in helping you solve your skin problems. I find her friendly easy to talk with and she listens. I see her regularly for skin rashes and breakouts. She's the best and always takes time with you. A great addition in Palm Desert.

I had a emergency and was referred to call this office and see her. My skin was very swollen, irritated, itching inder my eye. It was a Friday afternoon and I did not want to go to ER. I called and receptionist got me in within 2 hours. The doctor was gracious and welcoming. She made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. She carefully looked at my situation, prescribed two creams and said she would see me in a week. I followed her instructions and within 3 days started to show good improvement. I followed up on a repeat visit and her treatment was successful. I will see her for a skin check in a a few weeks and now she is my dermatologist in Palm Desert, CA.
