Dr. Leena Chacko, MD

I do NOT recommend Dr. Chacko or Evergreen Primary Care in Sammamish. When I went in with a minor issue, Dr. Chacko ordered three expensive tests to uncover what was going on, but then she let me figure out the results on my own once the radiology results were posted in the portal. After several frustrating days of calling Evergreen Primary care in Sammamish and receiving no response to help me understand the results of the ultrasound, I finally made a follow up visit online and came equipped with a list of questions about the findings that I got the pleasure of deciphering myself. Dr. Chacko acted arrogant and condescending when I asked questions about the ultrasound results. She haughtily asked me why I made the appointment and told me I should be speaking to a specialist. I told her I'm simply trying to understand the results of the tests SHE ordered. She was belittling and completely unprofessional when answering my questions. I finally just left the visit. I'd had enough… and I will give Evergreen more details about my experience. I'm starting to understand why Dr. Chacko had so many slots open. Don't go to this doctor is you like to ask questions about your own health. It clearly bugs her.

This location is engaged in medical billing malpractice. My wife saw Dr Leena Chacko for an annual exam. The doctor asked her if she had any discomfort. My wife took this question in context of annual wellness check and let her know about her neck pain. The doctor prescribed her ibuprofen (rocket science) and asked her to see a physical therapist. They proceeded to bill separately for this as an office visit (charges of $449 !!!). The insurance contract brought it down to $52.21. We have been to swedish clinics before, where they inform us explicitly about requiring a separate appointment. What the doctor did was ask misleading questions for billing. The last thing you want to worry about while talking to a doctor during an annual exam is will there be a separate bill for my answer to any question from the doctor? Are we supposed to ask the doctor before any answer, if there would be a separate charge based on how I answer the question. Can I trust the doctor and their services? I… have tried to reason it out with them, but they are very unreasonable hiding behind some legal clause... Very disappointing and unreasonable. Below average service quality.

She is a good listener, but not as well-versed as you would want your family practitioner to be.

Recently moved to Washington and chose Dr. Chacko. Am very glad I did. She is easy to talk to; gives good, easy-to-understand information about my health issues and suggests alternatives.

I've been seeing Dr. Chacko for a few years now. I have found her to have great bedside manners - concerned and always willing to take the time out to hear you out. She is very well-informed and knows what she is talking about. In her feedback to me, she is both candid and conscientious - a balance, I really appreciate having in my doctor. I'd recommend her, with no reservations at all! The office staff has also been a pleasant and easy group to interact with.

She is aggressive and not particularly friendly, but I think she probably knows her stuff.

She "forced" me to go to the ER (If i rejected her order of going to ER, she will order an ambulance at my expense) for something that just needed diet and exercise. The "unnecessary" ER visit bill was huge. Be careful with her!!
