Dr. Leena Khaitan, MD

Dr.Khaitan is a great surgeon and has done 3 abdominal surgeries on me. She does seem to care about her patients and takes time with them. The big problem I have with this doctor is with her office staff and not with her. Her secretary does not schedule the test she orders without having the patient call multiple times to try and remind her only to get her voicemail repeatedly and no call back. It took 3 weeks to get the secretary to schedule an esophogram only to be told I can't get the test done for 3 more weeks. Now I was ordered a test for my esophagus and told I need another surgery to help the awful pain and nausea I have daily. Now after I week I have not been able to get her secretary to call and schedule these either. If I could just rate her office staff I I would give them a 1 but Dr.Khaitan herself is a good doctor.

Love her!!!! I would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WOMAN TO ANYONE!!!

Khaitan created extreme stomach narrowing during my surgery, and never cared to investigate the medical problem. Instead, she sent me to see a nutritionist?! I was forced to seek help from competent doctors who properly diagnosed the issue and saved my life. However, after multiple revisional surgeries medical problems persists, due to Khaitan's use of outdated sutures that known to cause complications. If your health is important to you, RUN away from Khaitan. To my great surprise she still dares to send me bills for her "services".

I found Dr Khaitan to be rude, unkind and extremely cold. She was just not what I was used to in a doctor. I asked questions and she treated me as though I was dumb. I have needed a follow up for a year but can't bring up the courage to see her again . I'm not sure where to turn.

Office staff was unprofessional, Dr khaitan was not very helpful and seemed to be very uninterested in handling my case. Also I could hear the nurse and Dr khaitan discussing my case so loudly through the door and clearly they were not very engaged in helping me. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

Dr. Khaitan is a very caring person and a fine surgeon. I had some rough times at the beginning of my surgery but things are getting better. She was there for me when I needed her and very attentive. Her staff is also very professional and good. I am in my 6th week after surgery and I am improving with each week that passes. So far I have dropped 50 pounds and am no longer taking insulin for my diabetes. She has my recommendation.

She wss very rude! Didn't want top talk with me. she never made eye contact. Cold, rude and uncaring is how Isa her!

Office was great, able to get appointment. She was unprofessional.
