Dr. Leiden Ezequiel Gonzalez Pimentel, MD

This doctor used to be helpful but has more patients that don’t have HMO’s, he started treating me differently. He actually told me when I came to his office the other day that I should look into getting a PPO because of the amount of referrals that I need and it’s just too much for him and his office. I didn’t argue with him or anything. I just told him I needed a referral to an ophthalmologist. Turns out he never referred me to the ophthalmologist because my rheumatology referral had expired so he referred that instead of doing my ophthalmology referral. So now my eyes are in jeopardy because he says now I have to drive back the 35 minutes each way to see him or he will not give me a referral to the ophthalmologist. My eyes are really bothering me and I’m getting like white circles inside of my eyes and I don’t know why and now I have to wait to find a new primary care doctor so that I can have this referral sent out. I called to speak to them and they put me on hold for 17 minutes… which has never happened. They were never gonna get back on the phone with me. They just left me hanging. So I hung up and called back and a very angry girl was on the other end of the line which I’ve never experienced in my years at this office. Her name was Danielle she said, and she just kept talking over me and said that I ask for a lot of things of them meaning referrals and I told her I know that I do, but I have a lot of conditions and that’s why I have a chronic condition needs insurance and it’s not meant for me to be running around getting referrals separately. But she told me that it’s my insurance and not the office and that’s not the case. My insurance does allow me to go to a doctors office and get several referrals at once if necessary. They don’t want you running all around and also Dr. Gonzales is getting paid for each of those visits when he could’ve just taken care of a couple referrals at one visit. So I know they just don’t want me to be there anymore and they made it very clear to me. What a horrible, horrible place would not recommend to my worst enemy. quite honestly, he should get in trouble for insurance fraud because it’s totally unnecessary. And quite honestly he’s just wasting more time making people come back and having to deal with another office visit why not just do the referral and get it over with.

I WAS ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL THE DAY BEFORE AND I WENT TO SEE THE DR SO HE CAN CHANGE THE MEDICATION HE SENT ME A HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND A CHOLESTEROL AND THOSE 2 MEDICATIONS CANNOT BE MIX LONG STORY SHORT BESIDES THE LADY IN THE FRONT DESK SHE NEEDS TO LEARN SOME MANNERS A REAL DOCTOR WILL LOOK FOR THE HEALTH OF THEIR PATIENTS HE COULDN'T SEE ME I WILL NEVER GO THERE AND DEFINITELY I WILL GET MY LAWYER INVOLVED
