Dr. Leigh Ellen Eubanks, MD

HORRIBLE!!!!! She is much worse than a 1 star rating!!!! I went to Dr. Eubanks for acne and she was very adamant that I take Absorica (aka Accutane). She even told me that her teenage son was taking this drug for his acne. However, a couple of months into treatment, my hair started falling out at a rapid rate. When I went to her with my concerns about my hair, she told me to eat more protein and to stay on Absorica. So I did. My hair continued to fall out. She never even looked at my hair!! It has been 4 years, and my hair is still falling out. I wish that I had never gone to see her!!!!!

Dr. Eubanks is the best! I went in for my annual skin check as I do every year and she was so thorough. She spent more time than I expected making sure all of my questions were answered and concerns were addressed. I would absolutely recommend her and the practice to anyone needing a dermatologist!

While the office staff is fantastic, I was not impressed by Dr. Eubanks. Long story short, a male nurse practitioner student was brought into the room with the doctor without anyone even asking my consent and observed my full body freckle check. I was completely uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I had to ask Dr. Eubanks as well as the student to leave the room as soon as the freckle check was over because I felt so "overexposed" and just wanted to get dressed again. Then when they came back in for my acne consultation, Dr. Eubanks pretty much said in the first 15 seconds there was "nothing she could do for me" that didn't involve Accutane or antibiotics - two things I did not want to go on right away without exploring other options. Dr. Eubanks didn't ask me anything about my skin care products or regimen and also didn't ask anything about my diet at all. It was medications or "good luck." She tried to tell me that she suffered from the same type of acne and acted like she… cared, but she didn't even attempt to get to the root of the problem. How could she not even ask what type of products I use on my face?! I ended up leaving in tears b/c I was so frustrated at the lack of solutions offered (more solutions are offered online than what I received in Dr. Eubanks's office today). I will not be going back to Dr. Eubanks or her practice ever again.

I have never felt compelled to write a review before, but my experience and more importantly - the treatment of my 17 year old daughter by this establishment, has prodded me to make a statement. In brief, the care is mediocre at best, but the most telling of what this group is all about is how they treated my daughter. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff is very uncaring and unprofessional and the integrity by which they do business is highly questionable. Beware. And, please don't send your precious young girls to them.
