Summary
Dr. Lehan is a native of Hickory, N.C. and received her B.A. from Meredith College. She worked as a psychiatric social worker at Broughton Hospital in Morganton, N.C. before returning to school and receiving her M.D. from the University of North Carolina. Dr. Lehan did her residency at Duke University and served as chief resident there. She joined Raleigh Children in 1984, and is board certified in pediatrics. She is married to Tim Lehan of Smith Anderson Law firm and they have three teenage children. Dr. Lehan is one of the founding mothers of Playspace of Raleigh, an active member on several PTA boards, and a consultant for the Association of Retarded Citizens.
