Dr. Matlaga was very attentive and listened to my concerns. She made me feel comfortable and I like her as my gyn doctor. And she liked me. I see a great future relationship. Thank you Dr. Matlaga.

Returned from a long weekend BECAUSE I HAD A LONG-SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT with Dr. Matlago. Since I hadn't gotten a reminder text or request for pre-exam insurance info, I tried calling to confirm, only to get a recording telling me no one could take my call. I arrived at the appointment a half hour early to be told the doctor is on vacation and maybe I could be fit in sometime in October. I'm done with all things MEDSTAR. Not going back!

As an individual who works in healthcare. I was extremely displaced by my interaction with Dr. Matlaga. She arrived over 40 mins late to see me. Once she got to me she examined me in less than 2 minutes. She did not perform a thorough exam. As I attempted to discuss my concerns she was not listening and often interrupted or provided vague/short responses. I left uneasy from this visit. The providers bedside manner was awful and I do not feel like she was present during our extremely brief interaction.
