Dr. Leila Boukhris, MD

This Doctor doesn’t have proper training for geriatric's. She lacks patience and empathy as does her staff. My Grandmother was a patient of hers and there is no denying that she is a difficult patient. She has dementia and it manifests in ways of paranoia. She’s hard to get to appointments and she’s hard to get to be compliant. My grandmother recently ran out of one of her medications early because she mis placed them. My grandfather, her husband, died. We call and pleaded with the Doctor’s office to allow us to fill this medication early (3 days) to help her manage the heart break of losing her husband. The doctor wasn’t working and didn’t have any on call Doctor to discuss. The staff didn’t offer any empathy and just repeated that the doctor wouldn’t do that. The doctor called back the next day and told us not only was she not going to help her with the prescription she would no longer see my grandmother as a patient. We put our trust in these Doctors to take care of our… loved ones and this one failed us. This isn’t the only example but it’s the one that broke the camels back

If you want a knowledgeable, compassionate, and exceptional professional to treat your health issues, then Dr. Boukhris is the medical professional you’ve been searching for. I wish I wasn’t moving, or else I would never leave her practice. I would recommend her to all of my loved ones- and that in itself is best recommendation I could ever give.

My husband and I have been going to Dr B since she started in New Windsor, I just can’t say enough good about her she is amazing, the best Doctor anyone would ever dream of having. She is patient kind and so incredibly smart and always on the money . We adore her .

I've been dealing with a lot of doctors lately, and Dr Boukhris is simply the best. Very knowledgable, and she spends time talking to me. My initial inventory was done by her, not a nurse, and not a checklist. I've had a lot of bad experiences with doctors, and it is so nice to find one I really trust. I have found that I have to wait sometimes, but totally worth it.
