So i was referred to Dr. Norton through Marshall Hospital for a abrasion on my left cornea and a retinal hemorrhage ... I called to make an appointment someone answered the phone said hello and hung up... I called back and the same rude person answered again i ask to make an appointment and she asked very rudely what kind of insurance do you have not what do you need to be seen for several times she asked that didnt matter the the hospital referred me which takes the same insurance.. Needless to say i didn't make an appointment with them nor will i ever

Patient with my 98 yr old mom who has glaucoma. Empathic and kind. Takes extra time to help find ways to get discounts for expensive medications. We think the world of her and are thankful to have been recommended to her!

I can see now without glasses!!!! Doctor Norton is very talented. She is my hero!!!!!

Dr. Norton performed eye surgery on my lens. She was thorough and kind. I am going to have surgery on my other eye due to the need and the quality of care provided. Due to her busy practice, there were small missteps by staff, which were quickly corrected. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Norton hurries through the opthamalic exam, tells you your diagnosis and then heads for the door to see another patient.. She does not want to spend time discussing things like why your issues likely arose, what steps you can take to try and prevent them from reoccurring or talk about what dietary or lifestyle changes or supplements might preserve your future vision.

Dr. Norton was surprisingly apathetic about my exam and my medical history. She seemed to rush through the ophthalmic testing and gave vague and half-hearted answers to my questions. She did not educate me at all about my diagnosis and seemed anxious to finish my all too brief exam. I expected a more thorough exam and review of my history (which in my case is quite relevant to my diagnosis) and she did not deliver at all! I do not often post negative reviews and in fact enjoy writing positive reviews about various professionals because most often they deserve it. I would have chosen another doctor had I known what she was like, so I hope this helps someone else who is looking for a doctor or looking for confirmation about their experience after leaving the office. P.S. The staff and the facility are wonderful, perhaps another doctor there would be too.
