Dr. Leka Gajula, MD

My mom met with Dr. Leka over a month ago and a colonoscopy was scheduled. We received no instructions except for a brochure to the sugar land surgery center and what time to report there despite us calling the office repeatedly to ask if there was anything we needed to do. The staff was completely incompetent and unaware. Did not give us any additional instructions. The day of the procedure, it did not go smooth due to lack of instructions. Dr. Leka blamed us for not following the instructions when her office never gave us anything. In addition, it’s been almost a month and we have received no follow up calls or appts. After a phone appt was scheduled, no one called us and we called the office multiple times and no one picked up. Worst experience and staff!!!

On all of my visits to Dr. Gajula over the last five years (13 total), she has been an absolute angel. Her staff is quick to get you through the door and into a room and are very friendly and accommodating. Every member of the staff is competent and upfront about answering questions and unlike my experiences at other doctor's offices, I never get surprise bills from her office. She always takes the time to explain the details of my procedures and is very clear and knowledgeable about my before, during, and after care. It truly feels like 30 years of experience at my bedside. She cares deeply about following rules and not cutting corners, hence why she is such a good care provider. I take my husband and sister to her as well because I know that she will take care of them in a manner that makes them feel safe and comfortable. I'm really not sure why so many of these comments are negative. People seem to take issue with making payments as though they expect free medical care. Dr. Gajula… is a specialist with over 30 years of experience, I have never been overcharged by her office and she always takes good care of me and my family.

Zero stars would be more accurate! So many reasons why I am giving this doctor this rating. 1) I came in for an ultrasound appointment. What was creepy was the male technician that did the ultrasound was playing love songs while doing the ultrasound; 2) I had a specific appointment to get my results from Dr. Gajula but she never called me and had to call the office to find out the reason why she didn't call me; 3) Dr. Gajula said she'd recommend alternative probiotics but I never heard back from her or her office, even after calling and leaving several messages; 4) her office constantly hangs up on you whenever they say they will put you on hold; 5) they tried to charge me another co-pay to get my ultrasound results.

Be aware that when you have office visits and procedures like colonoscopy, you will continue to receive additional add-on charges for months after the procedure. My Sugar Land network confirms that this is a consistent issue and doctors are not referring to her as much.

Dr Gajula nurse Geraldine is a very rude person she sent me a letter to not see doctor anymore!. I feel she is very disrespectful and do not need to work in a doctor's office at all!. Patients need people that really cares about people and not so petty and in their feelings. Dr Gajula is not all of that as a good doctor neither..I like a nice, friendly, non- discrimination, and professional..Good luck people I hope you guys out there have better luck with this doctor and her staff..

I would not recommend this doctor or office to anyone looking for great, honest patient care. It's all about the money and the front desk staff is just horrible. Calls are not returned and questions are not answered. You are given the run around and talked to with extreme rudeness.

Dr. Gajula did an excellent job of explaining the results of my colonoscopy. She spent time answering y questions. She asked if I had anymore questions. I am returning to Dr. Gajula for a second colonoscopy. I highly recommend her. Sharonda

Never come to this clinic. Came here only once and will never be back again. They charge me $85 for an absolutely useless appointment about issues I was having. I later canceled a colonoscopy where they charged me $400 for it. I have no idea why they are charging me this much when I literally gave them my insurance. After this, I thought: I’m done with this stupid clinic right? Wrong. They later sent me a spam of messages, calls, voicemails, emails, etc. about a $25 fee that I have to pay for my first appointment. Hello...? I already payed $85 upfront. When I called a month later to ask about this charge, the front desk assistants were being incredibly rude, and hanging up the call, ignoring me, and transferring me to the billing department that is always led to voicemail. This clinic is absolutely ridiculous. Never ever come here. Go somewhere else!

This place is HORRIBLE!!! THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT AND PROCEDURE without any prior notice!! This place should be closed down with all the HORRIBLE REVIEWS!!! I don't even know how they run this business with incompetent staff answering the phone, barely see the doctor for 5 minutes and just care about money every visit! They don't even deserve 1 star

Worst experience ever. office scheduled me for a procedure 2 months ago but office forgot to call the hospital to schedule. The hospital calls me less than 24 hrs before the procedure to let me know the dr office called 2 hours ago to add my procedure. Office didn't give me pre-op info so it had to be cancelled -DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
