Dr. Housman performed CARB surgery on me twenty four years ago and I have been doing very well thanks to his skill and caring attitude. I feel very blessed to have been his patient.

I give him ZERO stars. I had a blood clot behind my knee in a superficial vein. He suggested that I do Sclerotherapy to remove the vein. I did and then also did it in my other leg on a different vein that was also having problems. They were done a month a part from each other. After a week or so after the second injection, I went back to see him complaining of really bad cramping in both legs. He did an ultrasound and said it looks like one valve is leaking into my Deep Vein. He said just to be safe he will put me on a blood thinner and then sent me on with my day. I went back to work just not feeling right and something told me I should go into he ER to make sure. I did and sure enough.... I had DVT's in both legs and 3 pulmonary embolism's. I was immediately hospitalized.

Dr Housman was so reassuring that the laser procedure would fix the pain in my leg. He made it sound quick simple. It was so painful that I almost hit the ceiling!. When it didn't fix the problem he said, "then that wasn't the problem. Go to a muscular skeletal specialist". Then his office wanted to schedule me for a recheck at one year. What for? he said that wasn't it. By to way, That ultrasound that they run up and down your leg every time you go into the office will cost you a fortune. So here I am years later and I am looking into finding a good vein doctor.

This Doctor is the best doctor i have ever had in my life!! Thank God for him!! I had surg. when i was 14 and now am 48 and he is the reason why i am still here today. At the time i lived in san Diego now i live in the east coast. This is the best doctor anyone could ever have. He saved my life and i am so very very thankful. I wish he lived out here. Last week I received an endovenous laser treatment from Dr. Housman. Everything about the process was exemplary. In my two appointments leading up to the procedure I waited less than 5 minutes. Dr. Housman spent a lot of time with me answering all of my questions. The procedure itself went smoothly and he personally called me the next day to follow-up. Finally, there is no scar visible from the point of incision. I highly recommend Dr. Housman.
