Dr. Leland Lou, DO

He tried to be a pain management doctor at Bryant Whitfield in Demopolis, did not work out, stay at what you are good at. Bedside manner needs improvement. He totally missed the spot for injection, lost all temporary feeling in leg. Never again. Took a few days for it to come back, did not hit the right nerve.

I have only been patient a short time. He put injections into my lower back. My back hasn't felt this good since 1977 when I injured it.

I love this man he helped me so much now that hes gone Darrell Shows thru us out of the pain clinic hes as Stupid as They come Rush pain treatment will be closed very soon because Im telling FDA that they are writing hullousigentic to patents

I've been seeing Dr. Leland Lou for several years. I was diagnosed with Spasmodic Torticollis (Cervical Dystonia) in 2007 after a motor vehicle accident. Of all the doctors and specialists I saw, Dr. Lou was the best. He did everything he could to help me with the pain. Because my pain level was so great, I was contemplating suicide before I was referred to him. After the first visit, I felt like I could breathe again. I always felt comfortable with him and I trusted him through every procedure. I've poked on and treated like a guinea pig for years by doctors trying to fix the problem, but Dr. Lou's expertise was what I needed all along.

I have been seeing Dr Lou almost 7 years. In my opinion he is a very intelligent Dr. He done everything possible to find what was causing my pain. But he can be very rude at times. If you don't want the truth don't see him cause he doesn't sugar coat anything. His assistant Daryll Shows is awesome. Always curtious, caring, takes his time and went above and beyond to help me. The office staff at the front window can be rude as heck. But he encouraged me to call Rush management because he didn't hire or fire them.

I went to see Dr. Lou in June. I had signed all release forms for a my records to be sent. Unfortunately, my old Dr. office did not send my records by the time I had my appointment. Dr. Lou told since my records were not sent, he could not write my any of my prescriptions ( non-narcotics and narcotics). Yes, I was upset but b/c of that but more so b/c he felt it ok to give me injections ( a cost of $7300.00) with out my records but write ANY of my prescriptions. Also he talked down on my old Dr.s office. I tried calling his office manager more than several times with no luck in them returning my calls.

The BEST pain mgmt doctor I've ever seen. Dr Lou really cares...

Dr Lou Is a very thoughtful in caring doctor. He takes his time to try to care for his patients. Some people have given a bad review of Dr. Lou, I would imagine these are people that he had to stop giving pain medicines because they were not using their medications correctly. I have seen Dr. Lou and his assistant Mr Shows. I hear the people in the waiting room that are very pleased with their care. The only complaints I hear are from people that do not get the medication they wanted. Sometimes I do have to wait longer than I would like for a visit, and some of the staff at the check in desk are very rude. But overall I would say Dr. Lou and his staff dose an excellent job

DR Lou is one of the worst drs(if you want to call him that) i have ever meet. I was sent by my reg dr. and this man was rude and told me to come home and hurt.
