Dr. Leland Graham Siwek, MD

15 years ago, I had a failing heart valve problem. I asked my cardiologist Dr. Fuhs, "if he were in my situation, who would he call". He pulled out his cell phone right there and called Dr. Siwek (who 10 days later performed my Ross procedure). Dr. Siwek, gave me total peace of mind every step of the way and especially going into surgery. I've enjoyed perfect health for the last 15 years! Dr Siwek is... the Best of the Best! Dr Siwek is the best of the best. I had Mitral Valve Prolapse. I was critical. He was able to repair my valve. 13 years later, I am still more active & healthy than i was in the years before the surgery. I recently wrote him to thank him again for the 2nd life he gave me. I would highly recommend him above and beyond anyone else.

The nurses that were taking care of me said if they were going to have open heart surgery he was the one they would want to do it. I was less nervous after that

We are going in soon for a complicated heart surgery. I wouldnt want anyone else doing the surgery. If I had to choose a second surgeon it would be Dr Ice (nickname).

Dr. had an earlier emergency surgery which set him back some time on office visits. When he arrived, he knew my file, had discussed my case with my carfiologist, had viewed my films, and was completely up to speed. He spoke with me and my wife as a caring, fully informed health care professional. He gave us the comfort we needed to know we were in good hands. His staff was exceptional. I know I am in good hands with Dr. Siwek.
