Dr. Leland Harding Webb, MD

I am sorry to have to leave this type of review, but my experience with Dr Webb was anything but exceptional. There was no due diligence or discovery made prior to a surgery that I was scheduled to have 2 days ago to find out that I had a tracheotomy put in about 15 years ago. After I was admitted into the surgical room and anesthetized, turns out that they were unable to intubate me because of scar tissue that was around my trach. Once I woke up from the anesthesia, I overheard the doctor saying I'm so glad he's okay. Additionally the anesthesiologist that was used at St Joseph outpatient surgery center, told me that I should have advised him of any surgeries. I told him that he never asked. He said yes I asked when I was standing at your bedside, I said no you didn't and he said do you want to see the paperwork. I said yes, he left and a half hour went by and never came back. Additionally, my wife who is sitting next to me while he was standing there asking questions about my medical… history, can testify to the fact that he also never asked about surgeries. Additionally Dr Webb lied to me on the phone yesterday when he said that he too was standing by my bedside when the anesthesiologist was there asking about the surgery. There was never any record keeping, no follow-up, no discovery, whatsoever. My health was put in Jeopardy and this is definitely something you need to consider before utilizing Dr webb.
