Dr. Lendel Mark Taylor, MD

I’ve only seen one other doctor worse than him in my entire life. Blatantly ignored my child when she complained about side effects and actually tried to DOUBLE her dose. Filing a complaint with Tricare about how awful he is.

I got fired from his care via a shady letter that he sent to my house because of failure to "complete the required EKG and all blood work including A1C and B-12 level." I spent 55 dollars through a copay and 2 hours at a cardiologist office to get an EKG and the cardiologist look at me confused because he wasn't even sure why the psychiatrist wanted me (a 30 year old with no preexisting heart conditions) to get an EKG. Despite doing the labs and EKG, he fired me because his office never recieved the information from the cardiologist office or my PCP for a lab. They didn't call me once to tell me that they have yet to recieve the labs I performed. They instead sent a shady letter to my house to fire me. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any health care office. Do not go here and waste your time and money.

He's an absolutely horrible, arrogant, pompous, prideful, rude man. He's like talking to wallpaper, flat affect, emotionless. Terrible, unfriendly office staff. Very backward and behind the times technologically, cheap, no website, uses the old-style of paper roll receipt printing machine to process payments, shows no true compassion or care for patient, does not know how to prescribe the right medications for my condition. Stay away from him if you need psychiatric treatment that is professional and helpful. His waiting room is cold and uncomfortable, he's not on time for his appointments (at least 30-45 min. wait time), don't make an appointment with him; you'll regret it, I promise you!

I was more stressed after leaving. So much for treating my situational anxiety...he started right off by telling me that I need to quit drinking. When I asked about exercise and diet, he said exercise would not solve my issue. (Maybe because he needs to loose a few pounds himself)?? Also his ridiculous mustache, maybe he can take my wasted money paid for "office visit" to shave it off!! He said he would not treat me at all if I did not stop drinking...I had reported drinking 3-4 beers a day (after working 10-12 hrs a day)--and I own a construction company as well as a roofing company!! He will never see my face again!! Plus not one other person in his waiting room???

Office practices are unprofessional. Patient calls are not returned, office person is rude, appts. are frequently canceled with little notice; however, if the patient needs to cancel or is a few minutes late for an appt.,the patient is zapped with a fee and won't be scheduled for another appt. until the fee is paid. And that's the best outcome...the patient may be screamed at by the employee at the front desk and embarrassed in front of other patients. And this from the office of a "professional" in mental health care? The office worker may be the mouthpiece, but of course. the doctor sets the rules and condones the behavior of the office person, or patients wouldn't be treated this way. Do your research. This is not a good practioner for anyone.

Worst Doctor in Brandon Florida

This is the first time I feel compelled to write a review on an MD, and I am an RN. Recently moving here, my initial appointment went relatively okay. Although MD Taylor requested an EKG (as I was told by the front desk, he requires with all patients). None of my medications indicated a need for this. He basically wants more insurance money. This is not through practice, this is a money making scam. I waited 40 min for the initial appointment. He required a 2 week follow up appointment (I live 45 minutes away). I waited in the waiting room for 50 minutes, despite having an appointment. Ironically, there is a rather large sign in the waiting room that says "late appointments will be rescheduled and charged a missed appointment fee". Needless to say, he is no longer my physician and I would not recommend him to anyone.

The older blonde office lady is beyond rude. Their policies are crazy. If you are a step parent you can’t take your child in for appointments. I get fees for missed appointments not cancelled in 24 hours for habitual offenders, but when you have a sick child $200 cancellation fee is crazy....we don’t have ESP and know when our children will be sick!! They can run hours behind or call and reschedule your appointment because the DOC is sick (as your driving to your appointment), yet you have to know in advance when you’ll be sick and need to reschedule?!?!

Worst doctor ever, was 10 minuets late for an appointment due to a car accident, which I called ahead and he refused to see me! But I had to pay a 35.00 for missed appointment fee. How this man is even considered a doctor is beyond me! Before you even start speaking to him, he is writing out a prescription to give you, non caring money hungry sorry excuse to the medical field
