Dr. Leo P Fink, DO

Make sure your confirm with office the next day that your appt was actually scheduled. Made an new patient appt on phone, had a 10 min conversation with office picking a day that would work for my schedule. Waited 3 months for the new patient appt took off a day of work without pay, only to find out when I arrived this morning that the appt was never schedule in computer. Next new patient appt now not available until Oct! Guess I will be looking for a different PMD

The staff and Dr. Leo used to be great. I would call with an urgent situation and they would get me right in. Now you cant even call their office and speak to someone. Northwell has an answering service working for them and to get a call back is impossible. Ever since Northwell took over, this practice is suffering. When I try to talk to Dr. Fink, he is too busy typing a summary of my visit. I am changing dr's because he is too busy now to actually spend time with you.

Office staff does not follow up or make call backs. Dr. Leo and his Patient care service team is amazing, I wish his office staff was even average which would be an uptick

Instead of bashing the staff maybe you should go right to the source so they can find ways to improve the service they provide to their patients. I'm sure Dr Leo would address the situation because he cares for his patients.

I have stuck it out for years now hoping the staff would improve. The doctors are just wonderful. The staff.... Well they are not only incompetant but are often rude. After another negative experience I had today with staff, I am sad to say I am now searching for a new doctor.

Dr. Leo has an excellent bedside manner.

This doctor's office has repeatedly denied my husband perscrpition renewal for Blood Pressure Medication, a medication in which the doctor has told him is essential to take each day without fail. He has seen the doctor within the last 3-4 months. Recently he was told to go to a specialist. My husband's now my husband was told (and not the first time this office has done this) he must make an appointment just to get the new RX when the doctor has already given him a report on his health. Sounds like they just want insurance money. If you have a real daily medical issue. Stay away from this office.

The doctors are great, not so for the staff. Kathy the Office Manager is the worst. I've seen her deal with patients and could not believe this is who Dr. Fink want to represent him and his practice. He should really reconsider the position and be aware of how she treats people. She can ease up on the rudeness and the attitude. I know for a fact that the front office staff is in agreement. Wish she would just be a little more human and a bit nicer.

Dr. Fink is a fine and caring doctor. However, I find his staff to unconcerned, callous, and rude when it comes to my health needs.
