Dr. Leo Lasala, MD

His ego is astounding, cocky, uneducated, zero effort to treat or diagnose. Extremely rude, know-it-all, doesn't like being fact checked or proven wrong. Throws out pain meds like it's candy off a parade float. Minimal effort to diagnose a patient. Doesn't do physical exams, stands at his computer the entire time making no eye contact or even looking at you. Incredibly rude, smug, vain, and lazy. His staff isn't much better, no knowledge of basic pharmaceuticals and they argue about prior established medical treatment without speaking to your previous providers. It's like pulling teeth to get refills or referrals, even if they send a referral the staff doesn't follow up with the referral specialist or with you as a patient to ensure you've been seen or treated. They seem to see a lot of frail elderly patients, my guess is because it's easy, the patients are more than likely unable to advocate for themselves and it's easy money for their office. Lasala behaves as if you're beneath… him and he has better things to do. I was in his office with him exactly 8 minute and he never once looked at me, asked a question, examined me, made any effort, argued with me about medications he had no knowledge or understanding of, and rushed me out the door.

Great doctor, always does a great job with each of my family members he sees.

He listened to me very well. A great family doctor.

He acts like a psychiatrist & will put a person on medicine they do not need.

Spent less than 5 minutes in the office. Didn’t even pretend to examine, hardly asked question. Did not examine the issue spot, prescribed a med that typically requires blood work monitoring before/during/after and did not request / suggest a follow up visit. The med didn’t even work. Basically did nothing and it was 100% useless. I do not suggest this doctor.

maybe my last doctor was a 1 but dr. lasala seemed much better to me.
