Dr. Leon H Campbell JR., MD

While the waiting time in the waiting room is a little longer than the average, there is a reason. This doctor is not there to just make money by just seeing you for 10 minutes and take your money like the other doctors do. He actually spends time with you assessing medical needs that are tuned to you specifically. I have been to several primary care doctors and this guy is actually as knowledgeable if not more than some of the specialists. He really keeps up to date on the latest pharmaceuticals and latest treatments. If you are looking for a real doctor who will do his best to cure your problems rather than simply give you a scrip to hide the symptoms and is not one of those doc in the box / drive thru types, this is your guy.

This Dr. is an incompetent, arrogant, pompous, tyrant. He thinks he is above common courtesy and decency. He cannot listen to his patients. He will rush you out the door. He is not above yelling and cussing at you. He is the very most unprofessional doctor I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. If you lose your leg, you would be better off to pick it up an hobble down the street to another doctor.

Saw some of the other reviews. I go to dr Campbell even though he doesn't process my insurance. Yes it is true you may wait a while. However,I have always been taken care of very well when it was my turn. I was impressed that he does all of his own charting and actually takes time to write down details so, if you do have to come back, you feel like somebody is actually personally keeping up with you. Also he is, in my experience, a doctor who actually listens to how you want to be treated and what you expect. For example: I was once there with problem "x" (can't remember the name of the disease). Instead of him being like: here's what I'm going to do to you, he presented a couple different treatment options, told me the side effects, and how fast I could expect to get better. I told him I had a business obligation I needed to keep that was coming up so we decided that my treatment was going to be more aggressive (with an antibiotic that causes more side effects in the short term) so… I'd feel worse for a few days then better!

I will Never go back to see this one ever not even take any of my family there

Over charge and under treated!
