Dr. Leon E. Clarke, MD

Dr. Clarke is a very kind person who is very professional, takes pride in what in he does and in every visit makes his patients feeling respected, valued and well cared for. He sometimes makes his patients forget that there sick because of his jovial, happy and cheerful personality. He is one of the few doctors I can honestly say go above and beyond to make sure all of his patients are cared for in the best possible way. He doesn’t just look out for his patients, he also makes sure their families or loved ones are treated with respect and courtesy. He is a unsung hero, certainly Mercy Philadelphia hospital has a gem. I pray that God will continue to keep Dr. Clarke in is mercy and I do wish there was more doctors like him.

I rate this provider a five. I have seen this provider on several occasion and he appears to be extremely knowledgeable and speaks the language that a patient can understands. Dr. Clarke is from the old school he shows patients he care about them. We need more doctors like him.

my experience with doctor Clarke was unforgettable. I went there complaining about a pain I had for years. After seeing several doctors for years he found problem and was the first to suggest the diagnosis was. Going in i thought he would be just like the other doctors I was so wrong. He showed me that he cared and not a record number.

He is a wonderful Doctor and an exceptional surgeon. He helped me when no one even knew what was wrong! I was so scared he eased me through every part of my problem. I also wanted to make sure that he knows how much he helped me to live a long a carefree life after my surgery. One Doc who knows what Crohn's Disease is all about! I'm still living with the disease because it is a chronic one, but since my surgery I deal with it without any medications. Thank you again Dr. Clarke you really did give me my "normal" for me life back!!!
