Dr. Leon Monceret, DDS

Dr. Leon Monceret, II takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education. He listens so he can best understand your particular needs. Then he strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care using his skilled training in the latest advances in dental technology.
I grew up in New Roads, Louisiana and finished dental school at LSU in New Orleans in 1997. Afterwards, I moved back to my home town to start my own dental practice.  I have an amazing wife, Allyson, which is also my receptionist. We have three beautiful kids, Madeline, Jacques and Gracie-Claire.  
I am lucky enough to have assembled a terrific team who enjoy working with me to provide not only the finest dental care, but a casual environment for our patients.  I believe their enthusiasm and sense of caring spills over to our approach with our patients and helps them to relax in a stressful environment.
My office sees people from the young to the …not-so-young anymore. We emphasize prevention and a healthy lifestyle, but also have the training and expertise to help people with the slightest of problems to those that are more severe. I have extensive training in the utilization of dental implants as well as cosmetic and reconstructive techniques.  I also have trained in an oral surgery technique known as the Ogram System that allows for virtually traumatic free extractions to the surrounding oral tissues.
When not in the office, I spend most of my time trying to keep up with and entertain our kids. We all love being outdoors and enjoy the many benefits that living in a rural community such as New Roads has to offer.  I have been a private pilot for the past 22 years and also enjoy fishing and riding motorcycles.
