Claim their philosophy is to treat the cause of pain with “multimodality” approach. This means they will only treat patients who are open to ongoing invasive epidurals for back pain. Epidurals only treat the symptom & give temporary partial relief. Once I advised I am no longer open to epidurals anymore, Lauren advised me to go to my PCP if I’m only open to treating with pain meds.

I find dr. Perel patient, knowledgable, and interested in solving the problem of my pain. He has been very kind in trying to find the way to helping me get back to the life I enjoyed before. Any patient of dr. Perel that finds him any other way than the way I described him is not on the same recovery road that I am on. Can't understand why! In my opinion he is a great dr.

Dr. Perel is nice. However, if you suffer from horrible debilitating pain keeping you from working, you won’t get what you need to return. In fact, I’ve been going here for 2.5 years and have only seen him 4 times. I had to request an audience just to see my doctor. It’s always others you see. You will only see Perel while getting injections. I’m disabled and have been constantly lowered on pain meds and now have no hope to go work again. Life is a struggle and the pain is terrible. I am now looking for a new doc who will see my pain as truth. Four spinal surgeries should give me the right to have whatever will get me working again. This place is only about getting you off meds at all costs. Don’t believe me? Go there and suffer as I have. Last neck injection caused so much pain and arm issues/numbness that I had to get cervical surgery immediately. Good guy, but he is lacking empathy for severe pain patients and treats them like an addict so he won’t have to write proper… prescription to give them relief. He should be self described as an injection procedure doc only.

Doesn’t matter how good of a doctor you are if the front office where you greet your patients doesn’t reflect you as a doctor you need to make major changes! 1) complaint safety 2) timeliness 3) staff interacting with patients 4) Your Beter Business Ratings is an F grade!

Very pleasant, patient and educational. Delineates a plan with alternatives. Spends time and answers all questions.

Staff is quite rude and incompetent. They seem to forget the patient is paying them. Also, it can take a couple of months between proceeders to try and fix the problem. Perhaps this could be because they are trying to make more money off of patients? Over booking is a huge problem,as well!
