Dr. Leon Fredrick Smith, MD

Dr. Smith is supremely kind, listens, and takes great care of my children and me. His PA’s and nurses are wonderful as well.

I have seen Dr. Smith for 28 years. He has treated me with his kind approach to medicine. He always ask me about why am I seeing him that particular day of my appointment. After listening to my my describing why I am there, he starts asking me questions. He takes the time that a now 76 year old man is always expecting. He only ask me to have blood work done if he thinks it needs to be done. About 12 years ago I went to his office as a walk-in and when he came to the examination room, he did not ask me why I was there. Instead he looked at me and said, " I have never seen you like this, what is going on " . I knew I was very ill before he said what he said. After 10 minutes he said, I really need to find out more about what is going on with your health. With-in 9 days I was tested at the hospital and had blood work done on several different days. As Dr. Smith learned more about my health, he finally told me why I was ill. He arranged for me to see to start a regime of… meds. It took 3 months but we got through my journey toward health. He is kind and very smart, thank you Dr. Leon Smith. I have seen that someone said he saw them for 2 minutes and charged them $500.00 for the visit. What a lie !

Dr. Smith himself is okay, but he has a couple of people on his staff that are rude and uncaring. I was a patient for many years but have gladly moved on. I figure I see him for a total of 40 minutes per year, but I have to deal with these other people for a couple of days, attempting to get them to send in the prescriptions and tests that Dr. Smith has ordered. It is like a meat market, and I guess they are all just too busy.

He cares more about money than his patients. A simple two minutes visit, he charged (claimed) to the insurance company more than $500 US dollar.

Excellent caring and compasionte physician!

This doctor is rude and arrogant. He clearly only cares about his bottom line.

Doctor Smith as truly shown compassion and concern for me and my family's health care needs. He has always been very attentive to any issue that may arise as well as truly concerned for more than just his co-pay thanks doctor Smith.

Dr. Smith is one of the best Drs I have ever experienced in my life. He is truly caring and goes the extra step to ensure his patients are receiving the best possible care. I can't reccomend him highly enough. I rate him a 10 out of 10 and give him a full five stars without heisitation.
