Dr. Leon Zacharowicz

One could not ask for a more intelligent, seasoned, thoughtful, caring physician than Dr. Zacharowicz. He listened carefully, questioned thoughtfully, and fully examined me without any sense of rushing. He is the kind of doctor who "sees" you and cares about your experience and ongoing health. How wonderful it would be if all physicians had Dr. Zacharowicz' commitment to his patients! I could not recommend him more highly. He is a man of integrity.

Dr. Zacharowicz is the model of how a medical professional should be for his patients. There is nothing "corporate" about him or his approach. He listens carefully, questions wisely, and takes all the time necessary to understand your experience before beginning to investigate what are your physical needs. Dr. Zacharowicz is highly intelligent, patient, thoughtful, and experienced. How I wish all physicians brought his caring, knowledge, and professionalism to patient care. I could not recommend him more highly.

Dr. Zacharowicz is a very thorough doctor who likes to get a good history and a very comprehensive examination before he offers a diagnosis which is on target. He takes his time with his patients and truly cares about them. He took care of a number of my family members and each one was very satisfied.

I liked Dr. Z very much. He truly cares about his patients with a bit of humor. Quite knowledge, no rush. answers questions and advises and spends time without feeling rushed. But, he moved from a Manhattan facility and I must find another neuro. I am sad but wish him well.

Dr. Z is truly concerned about his patients and spends time with no rush. I was sorry to learn that he left a 14th street facility in Manhattan. A wonderful neuro but now I must find another in Manhattan. I found him to be quite comical too. I had some good laughs. Dr. Z I miss you.

Dr. "Z" is very knowledgeable and cares for his patients. He spends time with each patient. You may have to wait to see him but the wait is worth it!

Was really there for you, spent a lot of time talking to me, and although I felt initially he was being curt, ultimately I knew he meant to be genuine and caring. Reminded me a bit of Dr. House.

While he can seem abrupt at first, he makes up for it with genuine caring about his patients, quality care, and his excellent diagnosis. He nailed our son's epilepsy meds (which can be tricky to get right) the very first time. He has a level of personal care I never expected to have from a peds neurologist, and has gone above and beyond for our family. I would absolutely recommend him to any parent for their child.
