After dental school, Dr. Bers completed a dental residency at Prince George's General Hospital and Medical Center.
As an active member of the American Dental Association and the Southern Maryland Dental Society, Dr. Bers has served in many positions including Editor of the society newsletter, a long time executive board member and state dental association delegate. He has served on the state dental legislative committee working on many oral health issues.
Dr. Bers is one of a small group of Maryland dentists to have earned a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and membership in the Pierre …Fuchard Academy.
For over 4 years, Dr Bers has also been associated with a progressive dental practice in Cooperstown, NY, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Downtime finds him volunteering for a variety of local organizations, working on home projects, scattering stray shots on golf courses, and discovering new corners of the Caribbean with his wife.
