Dr. Michael Bowen, MD

He was my Grandpa’s dr for prostate cancer for 5 years. My grandpa woke up on Monday morning and he was unsure about where he was. The hospital made my grandpa go up for his appointment by himself even though he was not at a point to make any decisions by himself or understand what was going on. Dr Bowen transferred my grandpa to some other place before telling his wife who has power of attorney. Then Dr Bowen made him go through blood transfusions and a CT scan before he could come home even after the fact his wife wanted him home to go on hospice. Dr Bowen did not contact anyone stating he was going to do a CT scan and that resulted in him coming home late on Tuesday when he should have came home on Monday. He then passed away on Thursday. I was truly appalled by the actions of Dr Bowen. He sure earns his name “keep em going Bowen”.

Dr Bowen was my father in laws Dr. Even after telling him we were taking him out of the hospital and bringing hospice in he still did a blood transfusion and a cat scan before he would release him to go home. He never notified anyone, not even his wife who was his power of attorney with what he had decided to do. She found out days later when the results showed up on her mychart app. He got released on Tuesday evening and passed away Thursday morning. Absolutely ridiculous. I will NOT refer anyone to him.

Dr. Bowen treated my father over 20 years ago and was incredible. My Dad had the utmost trust in him and appreciated his honesty, knowledge, experience and compassion. He did his best with a terminal situation. I only wish my dad had made it a few extra hears as the breakthroughs materialized a few years after he passed. I highly recommend Dr. Bowen.

Ddr. Bowen is a very kind, caring person. He is very easy to talk to and ask questions of. His staff is very professional and they are excellent at following up with lab results, etc. I had breast cancer in 1999 and have been Dr. Bowen's patient ever since, so I feel that I really know him and his staff well.

My Mom and Dad never had a negative word about Dr. Bowen. I would say the same about his treatment to my father and our family when he was in the hospital up to the end. Dr. Bowen is a great Dr. and has a great bedside manner.

Very caring, professional and knowledgable. Would highly recommend.
