Dr. Leonard A Bruno, MD

Dr. Bruno is the most compassionate and knowledgeable neurosurgeon and pain management doctor. He has helped me, my mother AND father. I presented with back pain and leg pain following many years as a rower and runner. When the practice became North American Spine and Pain, I was transferred to at LEAST 6 different doctors who I never met! Terrible place! I will be returning to Dr. Bruno's care once I have Dr. Kieran Slevin perform a microdiscectomy (a trusted Doc and recommended procedure by Bruno). Dr. Bruno takes the time to talk to you and understand your pain. He is also eager to refer you to another doctor if additional expertise is needed. He is committed to helping you feel better and to heal.

Dr Bruno was absorbed by North American Spine and Pain and ever since they moved from HV to Eillow Grove they have been HORRIBLE There is a Dr Jose, who told me "I don't have time to explain to you" and marched out of the room. I miss when I was a patient of Dr Bruno and not this shitty NASAP. Dr Bruno was supposed to call me last month and he never did. I really wanted to talk to him. I'd like to become his patient again instead of this NASAP. Obviously this is the short of it all.

Dr Bruno compassionately and expertly removed a large tumor and to this day I admire his care and communication. I wish all my experiences could be this superb! My life has been a blessing and would have been quite different without the doctor’s help.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. BRUNO TO DO ANY PROCEDURE AT ALL! I went to the Valley Pain Center for a rhizotomy & had the procedures before by Dr Selk who was great, the last one by Bruno. Because of the procedure I was left in the hospital for 1 week. No one told me it was possible to make a mistake & burn the wrong nerve in the neck such as the "Long Thoracic Nerve" which causes Scapular Winging, PAIN & limits the movements of the arm! Maybe at 73 he should consider retirement! IT"S YOUR SPINE!

The Best Surgeon & Pain Management Doctor ever!!!!!!!!

Was with his practice for over a year or so. Had a major procedure done for back pain. Didn't really work. Put me on meds which worked for couple hours at a time. Just didn't do it but he didn't want to hear that after trying to wean me down without a doctor visit for 5/months. Who does that. Told him just wanted old dose and I'll deal with it and he grumpily refused to comply and simply tucked his tail took his ball and said we won't be seeing you anymore. Find a new doc! Rolled out the door like a baby. $35/copay for that?! Totally unexpected. Very impersonal wn trying to talk on phone since u are directed to teller phone basically. Staff quite nice. Nurses wer OK. He's just not what I had hoped for. Only my body tells me wt I feel on a daily basis w my demanding physical job. He didn't seem too worried bout my condition wtsover. Very rude doctor.

This is a truly professional and highly skilled MD. However what impressed me most is his compassion.

Your caring heart only enhances your knowledge and your gift for being a true 'physician'.

Tops in my opinion. Everything about this doctor is wonderful; from his staff, his professionalism and his bedside manner.
