Dr. Leonard Edward Forrest, MD

Dr. Frost showed concern and care in a personal professional way. He took the time to ask questions and listen to and answered questions of concern that I had.

Dr. Forrest was thorough and compassionate. He gave me clear advice and options for my treatment and was supportive of my decision.

Came in screened, wait in waiting room maybe 10mins, doctor was actually waiting on nurse to bring me back Dr. had great bedside manner, which is a thing of past. He was clear and understanding. Told you not your usual doctors appointment.

I made six two hour trips to try to get help for my low back pain. Saw Dr. Forest 1 time for about 5 minutes, the next 5 trips I saw a PA. In all they did very little to help me. My pain level is no better. I was very disappointed in Dr. Forest and the Southeaster Spine Institute.

I spent about an hour and a half waiting at my first visit and had X-rays and MRI's. I wish they had by passed the x-rays and just sent me on for the MRI's. I felt like I got an excessive amount of radiation to my body. On my follow up visit I never saw the Dr- just the PA which I felt was a bit of a slap in the face for the the amount of time and money it cost me (out of pocket- out of network for MRI's so that was $2200.) I'm not impressed and still in pain.

Time management isn't a strong point always 30 to hour late with appointment time. generally don't see him you have to see a PA I pay to see the doctor not a PA although the PA is good. His bed side manor and explains things isn't all that

He listened to me and I was able to get a MRI the same day and see the doctor back to plan my treatmment.If you need a doctor for back pain .....go see him!

Never punctual - acted like he was rushed and did not seem to want to answer my questions. Did not educate me on what was going on. When I asked him to explain, he told me to look at the picture(MRI). I am not a radiologist. Has no compassion. I can get this same treatment at a fast food drive thru!!
