Good doctor, but bad staff...wont get your drugs filled or return calls....veyr unprofessional.. Mickael..

Firstly I would say do not go by these type of reviews, most people who are satisfied do not right a review and the disgruntled ones usually owe money to the physician and usually its only 10$ copay, LOL. I have been in the medical field for a long time and have knowledge of many types of practices. I waited only 30 minutes from when I showed up on a busy day and another time only 10 minutes and I was late. This physician cares a great deal about his patient's well being and takes his time with his patients. He has a solo practice and does not have a corporation or hospital dictating how fast he needs to go or how many patients he needs to see in an hour. I have interviewed many of his patients and been in his office personally. All patient's interviewed were satisfied with his care. Some of them had multiple complex issues and they were specifically pleased that the doctor took his time with his exam and did not rush them out. This is medicine folks, don't you want a doctor to… take his time and have the proper outcome. If you care about speed then the urgent care centers are for you. Quick in and out and they will throw you medicine you do not need. But when you are really sick, this is the guy you want on your side. How hard is it in New York to survive as solo doctor, this guy has to be dedicated and he has to be good since he has survived and been in practice for over 20 years

Terrible. His wait times are obnoxious, they have a tendency of scheduling patients in small time windows grouped together in a limited fluctuating schedule every month, it's very confusing to discern their actual office hours as they are constantly changing which is fine, ive dealt with this and even the average 2 hour wait time to be called in is okay with me. The line is crossed at their administrative issues where lab results are not received in a timely matter, prescriptions are not received and disinterested apathetic staff are not communicating with frustrated patients. In my opinion this is not how a practice should run. I will be switching

Took 3-4 weeks to get second blond test results back His new receptionist claimed the doctor would be adjusting medication levels when no meds were prescribed yet because no diagnosis was given . . His new receptionist Fiona or Keona (not sure)is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. She insisted that Dr. Genovese would not call back because he was with patients and She would be the one to speak to about the results. She claimed she is an MA okay you're not a doctor. She also insisted that she would not send the blood work to a different doctor. If you want to wait almost 3 hours and wait three weeks for bloodwork and then be asked to come back three times, this is the office for you

been a patient for years overall great doctor. wait time isn't so great but working in the medical field i completely understand why and i know the process

This is THE worst office I have ever been to. Staff is sooooo rude.

Dr. Genovese is the rudest doctor iIhave ever met. I left work two hours early to get on time to his practice and he made my husband and I wait an hour and a half to see him. He left the office while having numerous patients waiting. His office is dingy and disgusting and is not clean at all. I would not recommend this doctor at all, he is a disgrace to all doctors who care.

He is a great doctor but he has to be more puntual. He is not very respectful of people's time and come in late. Dont make 9am appts if you know you are not coming in until 10am (this has happened numeroud times without explanation). Also, if you book patients every 30 minutes then you have to keep things moving. If you know you are going to be very thorough (this is good) thus spending more time with them, book them every hour.

Dr. Genovese was very professional. I would highly recommend him as my family physician
