Dr. Leonard T Heffner, MD

I first met Dr. Heffner 41 years ago and he saved my life. I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin lymphoma when I was 18. I’m 59 now and will always be grateful that he was my doctor.

Dr Heffner and his staff saved my life. I was on the final stage of the multiple myolema Type of cáncer. And they did everything they could to find the right treatment. They always were very respecful and optimistic. Very polite My family and i are very grateful for all the atentions from all the Emory hospital staff..

Did not communicate effectively with me. Did not seem to care at all about my concerns and sickness. Did not know 1)what type of leukemia I have2)whether the treatment he had approved had worked3)what the cause of my fevers4)or anything else. Really good at saying "I don't know" to everything I wanted to know.

Very impersonal experience at Emory. CT Scan results are not discussed unless we ask.v. Disappointed .

Dr. Heffner, saved my life. He and his staff are the best in the world. Dr. Heffner is very courtious and has a good since of humor. He listens to you and will explain in detail what procedures he will doing so you can understand what will be going on. His staff and the Nurses at Emory University Hospital are the best. I would recommend Dr. Heffer to anyone.
