Dr. Leonard Iosif Levitz, MD

I liked Dr. Levitz, who suddenly just disappeared from the SI office, with out being told that he wouldn't be returning) but i have waited HOURS to be seen, with no reason, no crowded waiting room, HOURS. Now, I'm being told I'd have to go to the Brooklyn Office to be seen. Again, never being told the SI office was even closing. The office is run completely unorganized & insufficiently and no one cares. Your made to feel that Your Time is Unimportant. The women at the front desk are Nasty, Disrespectful, and truly Should Not being working around humans. There is a new female Dr. who is no better than the staff. The lack of care and human compassion is nothing I've Ever Experienced before at a doctors office. NO ONE should get so stressed from just going to see their doctor. I'm glad I'm Out

Brought my 83 years old dad to the Staten Island office... there was no line but we were waiting for more than an hour. Stuff is not respectful and don't care about patients. The nurse wanted to do blood test and EKG even though I said NO. She still did test for coumadin bur couldn't get a result, totally unprofessional. We left the office without even seeing a doctor. The worst experience ever!

I was very pleased with the care that I was provided with by Dr. Levitz. He listened to my symptoms and was able to inform me of a proper diagnosis and treatment. I am very satisfied with his service

I was looking for a primary care physician that will be close to my house and found Dr. Levitz. I walked in and without a problem was able to schedule an appointment. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in that they helped me change my PCP. The wait was slightly long, but once I got called into the exam room the doctor gave me his full undivided attention. Since it was my first time I was sent to get a sonogram and it was very convenient since everything is located in one place. Overall, the wait was long, but definitely worth it. I will be back.

If you are willing to seat 3-4 hours (sadly, I am not kidding) in the tiny airless room listening to extremely irritating receptionist drone on aboit stuff that has nothing to do with any of the office business, and then still be treated like an enemy even after enduring all that - may be you could be dr. Leonard's client. The question is - why in the world would you wanna subject yourself to that? They will put up resistance to any of ypur questions or requests - all they ever seem to care about is avoiding responsibility and accountability. It is a giant waste of time and trust.

The biggest thing is the unwarranted ekg's and ultrasounds that they conveniently do every few months at there office. And they will charge your insurance and try to charge your medicare card to get paid twice

I went to this doctor with a bad respiratory infection and swollen Lymph nodes and he sent me away saying it was a small cold. I have been coughing and have been in extreme pain. I have since went to the Hospital to get IV antibiotics because I got very ill and he didn't give me anything for it.

I visited this office for an initial appointment because of a painful rash I had developed. I filed a formal complaint about my care. I do not have insurance and I paid $125.00 out of my own pocket.My visit lasted about 10 minutes.Doctor prescribed ointments.i was apllying an oinment for 3 weeks.but it didn't work.I do not think this care was worth $125.00. I had read Doctor Leonard Levitz has wide experience and the clinical approach to treatment of difficult therapeutic diseases revealing of the internal reasons of illnesses of a skin. I do not feel that I received care worthy of that claim.
