Dr. Leonard Allen Sudberg, MD

Dr. Sudburg is a retired doctor and he only comes into the office three days a week. The company is owned by a group in India and all your medical request etc is sent to India. My experience is that I needed clearance for aa minor surgery proceeding. They did a test on my legs and stated I had a blockage and might need a stint. Sent me to a cardiologist who then put me through a barrage of test only to determine that I had no blockages. The delayed my surgery three months and cost me a lo to money. I then ask for the clearance as was told I needed more blood work because it has been more than 30 days and an new ekg. Then they came back and ask for something else. I called the surgeon and he said never ask for those test. When I ask the office staff about making me jump hoops that wasn't required I learned that the gal in the office thought "in her opinion" I should have it done and therefore they were going to require it. My insurance company switch me to the office … (I didn't request it) and it has been an absolute nightmare. I am out of state for a few months. My insurance company said to have Dr. Sudberg Ofc send a request for me to see a doctor in Virigina. Dr. Sudberg's Office refused until my insurance company called them to tell them they couldn't refuse to send a request. They refuse to give me a printed copy of my prescription so that I could get them filled while I was out of town. The nurse actually walks into the examine room and tells the doctor what he can and can't do. I find out this all stems from this being a company in India and Dr. Sudberg works for. The staff at this office like playing doctor and deciding for you what is best for you and you are NOT involved in your right to the healthcare you pay for. Dr. Sudberg seems to not have a clue as to what he is doing and does exactly as he is told by his staff. To sum up, I was SHOCKED to find out that I was receiving my healthcare from a company India. It is far far below average and NOT what we pay for in the United States. If you care about your health.... run away from this company .f.a.s.t.
