Dr. Leonardo Alfonso Garduno, MD

I went to see this doctor back in 2015 and the visit still haunts me to this day. It was the worst experience with any doctor I’ve ever had. I just remember feeling so insulted & so uncomfortable that I got up and left. He then followed me out of the room, yelling and telling the front desk staff that I was “mental and crazy” because I left the room. I kept totally quiet and embarrassed. I didn’t say a word the entire time from when he was being mean in the room all the way until I left. I kept silent and looking down and he was just taunting me. I was barley 20 and felt totally powerless. After he left, the front desk staff told me many people have an issue with him. That they also do not like him and pleaded me to contact managers to complain. I think I did, I can’t remember. Clearly nothing was done, based on the reviews I see now. I’d stay as far away from this idiot as possible.

He is the best doctor in Glendale I been with him for 15 year are more no complain he stops my pain.

Yelled at me, was very rude and mean when I really needed help. Would ask questions but then talk over me when I would try to answer them. Told me I was just using him and that he wasn't going to help me because I wasn't going to make him my primary care doctor. How do these people graduate medical school and go on to be doctors? I really just don't understand...

He is very kind and knowledgeable.

Dr. Garduno was listed under the providers accepted by my insurance carrier. The office was close to my house, so I figured I give him a shot. However, instead of "accepting new patients" as Dr. Garduno claimed, I was sent to a filthy clinic in a different part of town. Workers there barely spoke English, credit cards were not accepted, and the "doctor" I had paid to see was actually a physician's assistant. Furthermore, my problem not addressed. Terrible experience.

He is very good with diagnosis and great with caring about what you have to say and he listens and comes up with solutions to the health issue.
