Dr. Leonid Blyumin, MD

Dr Blyumin is a very knowledgeable and competent professional, superior bedside manner as well as caring. Does not immediately jump on suggestions of surgery and carefully xrays and examines patients with staff present. Dr Blyumin has referred me to another doctor for a knee problem I have had for many years. He took the time to explain the situation and how postponing knee diagnosis would be counterproductive. He is treating me for my long foot pain ailment and since then I'm able to walk with minimal discomfort, he is in my opinion the greatest and best doctor I've had in many years, friendly, caring as well as ethical. His staff is very professional and handles large volumes of patients with no disruption, their appointments are kept intact and with no delays.

I just had foot surgery by Dr. Blyumin. Dr. Blyumin is a Professor of Podiatry. And is up to date on the latest surgical procedure in Podiatry. I was very impressed by his bedside manners. Dr. Blyumin will put you at ease with his sense humor. I am very impressed on the state of the art surgical procedure. Minimal incisions. I am now walking in gym shoes after 3 weeks of removal of bunions and corns on my right foot and no pain! I will return in 6 months to have the same done to my left foot. I'm very impressed by the results! I highlly recommend Dr. Blyumin!!

This doctor told me I needed surgery right away. When I got a second opinion elsewhere I was told I did not need surgery at all. I think I was going to be taken into unnecessary surgery, during a global pandemic, just so he could have more business. I was barely even shown my X-ray. He also wrapped my foot so tightly that my GP told me to visit the ER and get it rewrapped. At the ER, they told me not to return to Blyumin because he wrapped my foot incorrectly. This facility was dirty, the waiting room was tightly packed during Covid and the receptionist was not wearing a mask. He also made uncomfortable comments about when I should have children.
