Dr. Leovares Antonio Mendez, MD

In a civil complaint unsealed today in the Northern District of Texas, the United States alleges that Cesar B. Pena Rodriguez M.D., and Leovares A. Mendez M.D., were prescribing in violation of the Controlled Substances Act. According to the complaint, the defendants issued thousands of prescriptions without apparent regard for patient harm, including prescriptions for a combination of an opioid, a short-acting benzodiazepine, and a muscle relaxer – a dangerous and frequently-abused drug cocktail known as the “trinity.” The United States Attorney’s Office worked with the Consumer Protection Branch of the Justice Department’s Civil Division in this effort.

Bine con el doctor Méndez. A pasar un consulta. Con la sopresa que nigun momento me pregunto como estaba ni la presion me tomo y me dijo "okay esta bien aki esta el papel para pagar la consulta" Pero que consulta?? Si solamente me dio los papeles page 250 solamente por ir. A los 8 dias me ivan a dar los resultados de el examen. Con la sopresa que tenia que pagar 250 mas para poder recivir el papel de el examen. Y una señora que trabaja ahi que esta "pansona o embarazada" me dijo que no podia ayudarme para nada y que no podia ver el doctor si no pagaba los $250 dolares. Entonces no los recomiendo ver este doctor. por mi experiencia propia. Yo llege a las 8am y sali a las 11:30am, con los actitudes que ellos tienen lo enferman mas a las personas.

Best doctor ever! I refuse to go to anyone else.

Dr Mendez he has been my doctor for 3 years,I live in Irving TX and his office is in Garland But when you have a great Dr i don't care how far i have to go. as for right now i have been very pleased of the attention and his patience to listen to me,I feel i found a great Dr,

Dr. Mendez has been my doctor since I moved here from the Coastal Bend Area....12 years now! I liked him from the first moment I went to see him. He has a great bedside manner, he spends the time to explain things to me and is pretty accurate in what he thinks is wrong with me. I have had medical issues my whole life, unfortunately, so i've seen so many doctors. They do not compare to Dr. Mendez. HIs staff has been nothing but nice and courteous to me. There is a slight wait time once in a while but I dont mind because sometimes that's the only time I have to myself...bring a book. I plan on having my daughter see him as she no longer can see a pediatrician. I strongly recommend Dr. Mendez to everyone.

Dr. Mendez is very caring!! He has a big heart and is a very congenial and happy-go-lucky kind of guy! He is always very thorough and makes sure he finds out what is wrong. He gets to know you and treats you like family, he's a great doc!

Waiting time was over an hour, dr. mendez explained that he did not have time to listen to me because he had other patients. (I waited over an hour and he was in the room for less than 3 minutes)Asked questions to front desk - receptionist did not greet, just placed the clipboard on the counter and continued to view her MySpace. Would not recommend.
