Retired, closed the office and sent our records to another doctor. He refused to provide a medical form for me after 12 years as a patient. pushes OTC supplements that he sells. Disappointed.

Dr. Boriack is an awesome teacher and healthcare provider. I have climbed the educational ladder in nursing healthcare and have been exposed to many clinical site rotations, healthcare educators, ancillary staff, and preceptors. In all sincerity, and with all of my heart, I can truly say Dr. Boriack's holistic treatment of the whole person is expertly provide and is the gold standard to which many healthcare professionals strive to achieve; yet, fall short in accomplishing. Dr. Leroy Boriack has taken care my family for over 10 years. I endured through three other doctors until I found him. My care had been fragmented and unsuccessful. I was required to take prescriptions that hurt me and my pain was not alleviated. After referral to Dr. Boriack, he brought kindness, patience and medical professionalism enhanced by his knowledge of the human condition. His wisdom has brought health and vitality to my family. When he learned my husband was hospitalized by someone else for an unrelated issue, he visited, to assure us and himself, that we were okay and getting proper care. He always offers to answer questions and often reminds me of a shepherd caring for his sheep. This physician brought me out of pain and a perpetual medical crises that I had languished in for over 12 years. He listens. He asks questions, and then he listens again. Sometimes he will call a day after your visit to suggest a treatment or alternative medication. He truly cares for his… patients. Now that Corona virus has arrived in Corpus Christi, TX, My husband took his first "Telephonic Visit" with Dr. Boriack today. It was thorough and efficient. We were able to remain in our home, but still get our labs reviewed, health appraised, complaints aired and guidance on medication. We are in our late seventies and appreciate the concern for our safety and well being. He has been a real blessing to our lives.

Why did you NOT post my review.

Dr. Boriack seems like he was once an excellent and attentive practitioner. However, as with all good things, they must come to an end, and his time practicing medicine should be one of those things. I can never tell if he is actually hearing and interpreting what I am telling him. He does guilt you into praying with him before and after every visit, and although I am a religious individual, I find this practice uncomfortable and inappropriate in a medical setting. I want my doctor to lean on his medical education and experience, not on a higher power, to treat me. The wait times to see him are extremely long. I can 98% guarantee that you will be at his office for at least 2 1/2-3 hours. Out of the 8+ times I have come in for an appointment, he has never seen me within 30 minutes past my actual appointment time. I also feel like he does far too many elective tests. I am in my mid-20s, healthy as a horse, and he has had me get blood work done multiple times in the span of 2 years with… no abnormalities present. I can't, in my right mind, recommend Dr. Boriack. I would find a different doctor in Corpus Christi if I could find one who was taking new patients. Good luck!

Dr. Boriack is a man led by God to heal the sick. He prays with you, listens to you, gets to know you, and then reveals a diagnosis and a plan designed especially for you lead you up a path to your best health possible. He has changed my life, energy level, encouraged me through difficulty and makes me laugh every time I see him. He believes in Eastern medicine as well as Western medicine but mostly positive power of the mind to heal the body, mind and soul. I've never experienced such a caring doctor as Dr. Boriack!

Forgets what I told him last visit. He couldn't find notes. Does not pay attention to what I say.

Dr. Boriack is a Wellness Physician. He will not try to force unwanted medications or procedures on his patients. He is patient, kind and a good christian. He sees the whole person and LISTENS and REMEMBERS what the patient says. He recognizes natural remedies and will advise and guide his patients to the best of his ability. My life and health is greatly improved since I became a patient of this fine physician.
