Dr. Leslie Terrance Sandknop, DO

Went in for a yearly "Well Check" which is covered at 100%, sent for ROUTINE labs, and was told about not owing anything for visit. One month later billed for "Office Visit" because of complaint about allergies and low energy. Called office about change in charge to be informed that you can NOT have any complaint or problem for their office to file for well check. RIDICULOUS, bait and switch, anything to bill for more. WILL NEVER go to this office or an affiliate again and will tell all I can about their poor office and billing practices.

I LOVE DR SANDKNOP! I HAVE GONE TO HIM EVER SINCE HE STARTED AT DR MCKINNEY'S OFFICE BACK IN THE 70'S. HE IS NOT WITH BAYLOR SCOTT WHITE CLINIC (SANDKNOP FAMILY PRCATICE, RALPH HALL, SUITE 201 ROCKWALL) ANYMORE. NEITHER IS BECKY WYNN OR MARGIE CHUNG, WHERE ARE THEY ALL AT NOW?

I have known Dr. Sandknop for 40 years and I would not trust anyone else with my health. In those 40 years I have used a number of physicians and none have measured up to the expertise and common sense of Dr. Sandknop. Once you meet him and experience his kind and knowledgeable experience you will see what I mean. He is an excellent diagnostician which is very rare these days. Five stars are not enough for this very good Doctor.

Dr. Les Sandknop and all his medical staff are just about perfect. I have been a patient in his office for over 10 years. However, in the last 1 1/2 years there have been serious problems with his office staff. They have become abusive and demeaning toward his patient. In the last six months I have noticed that it is much easier to get an appointment, as the number of his patients has dwindled.

Went for routine bloodwork 3 times. Each time sat in patient room for over 90 minutes waiting to be seen by a NP. She probably didnt spend 5 minutes with me before rushing me off... I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first two times but after my visit today i can see this is standard and normal business practice for this drs office! Not going back.

They're only in it to make a buck, they don't care about the patient. I had to go in for a referral to an eye doctor because my insurance required it. They swore that they wouldn't make any money off my visit and made me come in. Needless to say I'm pretty sure they made out OK at the end of the day....

My family and I have been a patient with Sandknop family practice for over 15 years. I have seen Jeff Rickert, Becky Wynn, Margie Chung, Dr. Witherspoon, Dr. Sandknop and others. No matter which doctor\PA you see, you are ALWAYS treated with respect, they all have excellent bedside manner. I have referred several family & friends to their office and they have nothing but good to say. It is not just an assembly line of patients to be seen, they really do care and they take time with each and every patient. Sometimes you may have to wait when you get to a room, but it is well worth the time.
