I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, subsequently lived in Texas for ten years, then Chicago, San Francisco, and now Seattle. I consider both San Francisco, and now Seattle, home. I am happily partnered to a wonderful man. We met serendipitously in Chicago, while I was completing a fellowship in child psychiatry. Although we both love pets, we don't have any of our own yet.
