Dr. Samuels has tremendously enjoyed treating children and adults in the community for 25 years. She was educated in England and attended Guys Hospital Dental School. She graduated with an Honors Degree in Dental Surgery from the University of London. After further training, she received a Fellowship of Dental Surgery from the University of Glasgow and completed her orthodontic training at the Eastman Institute in London, receiving her Diploma in Orthodontics. Dr. Samuels worked at the University of California in San Francisco as a research assistant in the growth and development department, gaining experience with functional appliances and craniofacial anomalies. She has been a volunteer clinical faculty member of the Stanford Craniofacial Anomalies clinic for 20 years, working with Stanford surgeons on the latest advances in the treatment of craniofacial anomalies, including the latest distraction osteogenesis techniques.
