Dr. Leslie Boyd is a fantastic surgeon and a wonderful human being. I immediately felt at ease with her and she has an impeccable reputation. The entire staff at NYU under Dr. Boyd’s direction were so easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. I was told by several doctors that I needed a hysterectomy over a 15 year span but I didn’t feel comfortable with any of them. I did not hesitate to schedule my surgery with Dr. Boyd, which she performed in June. The robotic surgery was completely successful and I am recovering excellently. She is always available to answer your questions, before, during and after surgery. I can’t praise her enough and I highly recommend Dr. Boyd without hesitation. Thank you for everything and for treating your patients with compassion and empathy.

Dr. Boyd is not my surgeon — she is my wife’s — but our experience with her care has been so extraordinary that I felt compelled to write this review. I could not have asked for a better surgeon for my mother. She answered every question thoroughly, explained everything, and the surgery went so well my mother was up and around the very next day with little pain. She also seems to be someone who cares very much for her patients. My only complaint was a long wait time before the initial office visit - we were seen about an hour later than when our appointment was for - but the best medical care is worth the wait in my opinion.

Hopefully you'll never need a surgeon with Dr. Boyd's special skills, but if you do, you can't do better...and that includes her office staff as well.
