Dr. Leslie B Cunningham, MD

Dr. Leslie Cunningham performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes this year. I am very pleased with the result. I have had no problems, and I don't have to wear glasses - not even for driving or reading. Dr. Cunningham answered all my questions, and never once acted impatient or irritated. His explanations were easy to understand. Dr. Cunningham's staff is professional, kind and helpful. I do whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Cunningham to anyone needing an eye doctor.

Dr Cunningham is very professional and caring in spite of having many surgical and other patients to see daily. A person (with bad grammar) gave Dr C a bad review on behalf of his mother, but his comments should be disregarded as hearsay. Surgeons don’t have time to hold hands or stroke egos, but Dr C is always kind. I worked with surgeons for 30 years, and Dr C’s bedside manner and professionalism rank with the best! He has experience in pediatrics, and that reflects a level of patience and caring that others lack. He has collected fascinating items of memorabilia and has decorated several themed exam rooms and waiting areas with framed photos, autographs, and collectibles that others would lock up for their pleasure alone. If a patient has to wait a few minutes, looking at these shared treasures on the walls makes the wait easy! Dr C did eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) on my eyes, as well as cataract removal and ORA lens implant on both eyes two years later. I trust him!

I was very disappointed in my most recent visit. I am very high risk related to the COVID virus. Dr. Cunningham carried his mask around in his hand as he walked around the office. He never once put it on, even during my up close eye exam. I am upset that I didn't say anything. I was just so shocked. I have seen him for years, but I will be changing to someone else.

He is very rude and talks down to his patients. He done my mothers cataracts surgery and we had to wait almost 2 hours per eye, each time we came. Also, when all of this coronavirus stuff came up I had called to reschedule my mothers appointment due to her already having health problems as it was, she can not get sick so when it all started I called to reschedule her 2 week follow up just so she doesn't get sick. They was very rude on the phone about rescheduling her appointment so she wouldn't get sick. I could understand if she was having problems with her eyes but she was not. They are only out for the money and they care nothing about their patients health.

Nothing but praise for the care I receive from Dr. Cunningham and his team. He listens and takes time to explain his findings and recommendations. I've had two surgical procedures with great results. I could not be more confident in his care.

This doctor did not explain exam and did not earn my trust. He diagnosed me with an eye condition and after going to a Specialist, I found out he was incorrect. Do not recommend this doctor.

Had to wait 1 1/2 hours yesterday for less than 30 minutes with the doctor. Terrible

Dr Cunningham was recommended by my ophthalmology Dr Allee. we had a "Meet and greet" to go over what the cataract microsurgery entailed he was very thorough and answered all my questions. Then the day of the surgery he was going over things again to let me know what was going to happen. He's laid back and explains stuff in layman terms so you know what he's talking about.

Dr Cunningham just this week finished cataract surgery on both of my eyes and not only am I well pleased with the results I was overjoyed with him and his excellent staff. They were all friendly and professional, a great combination for exceptional people. Thank you all.......

I waited 65 minutes in the waiting room. I actually asked the lady at the desk if I had been forgotten. Dr. Cunningham literally sighed as he examined me, like I was inconveniencing him. I will never return to this office.
