Dr. Leslie Ann Glasgow, MD

I have been to Dr, Glasgow for over 23 years and she is the best. Wait time is about 10 minutes.

Office staff is rude, disorganized, scattered and unprofessional. They are never in the office when they say they will be there. You show up for your scheduled time and the office is closed. Appointments are canceled right before appointment time. The doctor is always running about 45 minutes late every appointment. During the appointment she takes up the time discussing her personal business to include the homeless that broke into her house and her elderly mother that lives with her. When I decided to find another doctor, I signed a form requesting my medical records be sent to the new doctor. My records were never sent. When I called to inquire about it, they were rude and hung up on me. This is a HIPAA violation.

The quality of care at Alaska Regional is absolutely awful. People who make an appointment with a specialist like Dr. Leslie Glasgow should receive the care they need in a TIMELY manner. Patients should not have to wait 2+ hours only to find out the appointment has been canceled due to an emergency elsewhere. This hospital is understaffed and this comes with the neglect of patients seeking treatment. I would never recommend this hospital or doctor to any person. I would recommend seeking treatment else where even if that means going out of state. Trust me, it will be worth it.

Dr. Glasgow has been my Nephrologist for over 15 years. She spends as much time with each patient as is needed & always remembers small details of my life & condition. She is the epitome of knowledge, great competence, & compassion.
